We're looking for a few good (wo)men...
At Orchestra, we're always on the hunt for best-of-class developers and designers to join our team. We're looking for smart, hard-working people with design sensibilities -- folks who are happy to iterate, hunger for feedback, and are passionate about building great products.Orchestra? What's that?
We're a small team (currently 8 people) with a variety of passions, from baseball to breakfast cereal, Twitter to Taylor Swift. We're a design-centric culture (founded by ex-Apple and ex-IDEOers) and we put a premium on working together, building to think, and iterating toward greatness. We recently launched our first app, Orchestra To-do, on the App Store and at http://orchestra.com, to great reception. Reviews from users have been pretty spectacular, and the App Store has featured us multiple times ("App of the Week", "New and Noteworthy", "What's Hot", and we've even climbed to #2 in the Productivity section of the US store). Jack Dorsey even tweeted that he was "Really impressed with Orchestra... Beautiful in form and function". You can bet that made our day.
Orchestra is a deceptively simple product: from a UX perspective we've created something beautiful and intuitive, but behind the scenes we're pushing the envelopes of what's technically possible. Orchestra is built on a framework of NodeJS and CouchDB and is doing some things with iOS that, frankly, have never been done before.
